Hello everyone!

Apologies for not posting much last month! April has really flown by - I can't believe we're now 5 months into 2013.....

And it feels like so much has happened, and so much more is yet to come! So, I have things to fill you in with! The first thing I should mention is that I changed my hair colour! I know I didn't have my dark pink/purple and blue (the dye that I did myself, after switching up the original job done by the salon) mermaid mix for very long (only about a month or so) but whilst I did really love it, I got less fond of it :(

I think I definitely prefer a more pastel shade nowadays, but in no way do I regret the triple mix :) I've gone back to my in-between (if you know me in real life, you'll know this stage well - it's the "blonde" stage in the middle of another hair colour yet to come) for the moment, mainly because I want a break from super bright colours and because I want to be silvery for a bit too!

You can see some lavender tones and slight blue too! In real life it's a lot more silvery looking, which is beautiful! I think at some point I want to revisit a bright blue, as it was a colour I had never done before, and I actually think it suited me quite well! I don't think I'd have it all over though, it would most likely be a half and half job I think.

Anyway, I'll still be a wondrous mermaid for you all as I plan to put some pastel streaks/strands/BITS AND BOBS into my hair to keep it looking cute and all. I actually found a load of hair tinsel in a drawer the other day too! (I used to wear this stuff 2 years ago! Now it seems popular amongst Black Diamond members)

ACTUALLY bringing a point to light, thinking about it. When I had pink hair and was still really Gal etc and wore loads of d.i.a. (3 YEARS AGO) people used to think I looked stupid and thought my hair was excessive and didn't "fit" with Gal blah blah. Fast forward to 2012/13 and look at Black Diamond! People can't get enough of the girls. Fair enough I didn't tan, but the whole crazy hair and similar outfits? Credit to the girls (whether or not they be a Galcir) for looking the way they do, but I can't help but laugh at those who once said my look was stupid and would never look good :)

Anyway. Off track.

One of the things I think I'm looking forward to most about having lighter hair is THE ABILITY TO WEAR THINGS. You'd be surprised how difficult it can be to wear things with brightly coloured hair. Especially when you don't wear neon/brightly coloured clothes. Black is fine, and it's always been (and always will be) my staple colour of choice. It's the other colours I struggle with! How lame does that sound?? I love my pastel clothing too (love to bring a bit out in the Summer) but again, my bright hair looks too severe with it :( Maybe this is just my opinion, but I'll pretty much be happy to not clash with my wardrobe as much!

Other than my hair, I've been chilling out and meeting with friends and getting sunburnt! I went to Circa with Dec for his birthday which was fab. I've been really happy as of late, feeling like a brand new person! I've even gone on a few dates ;D But that's another story....

Last Tuesday I met up with my friend Maddie who I used to work and live with and we went to Westfield in Shepherd's Bush for some Retail Therapy! Their TOPSHOP is actually amazing. A lot better than the Oxford Circus one! Brighter, a nice selection, and easy to shop. Done, sorted! Happy customer. I purchased some tiny shorts, a beanie and some socks. Because one can never have too many socks. Especially if those socks are ankle length, black, and have frills around! That makes for one, happy Eilish.

AND AND AND!!Yes! Two amazing tops! One has a cat with a moon on it! And yes!! The other DOES indeed say "DON'T BE SUCH A MERMAID". Brilliant (albeit a little tacky). Had to have them! I also bought Mom jeans (at work). I love them and do not judge me. 

On Wednesday I met Yukika for dinner and then I stayed over at Tasha's house with Maddie, Hev and Charlotte! All girlies I used to work with and don't get to see that often. Hev is going away for 2 months :( Upset at that!!

Last time we hung out/got hideously drunk and twerked all night it was super fun! This time around we just had a girly night and watched Mean Girls haha! Had a shit experience on my way though... It's always North London that I seem to attract the weirdos in! Long story short, this creepy black guy wanted to talk creepy to me so I moved away and then he shouted at me, walked away, came back, and kicked me in the leg :z and then kept going away and coming back and tried to follow me onto my bus and then stared at me until the bus drove off. Great :z:z

I think that's pretty much it for my news this week! I've also lost some weight somehow... Strange!

p.s. I bought another dress. I need a chance to be sexy though plz.thankz.

3: New Look Leopard Print Cabin Bag
My friend Maria from work has this bag and for months I've been like "Damn, I'm getting that bag" and the stores near me never have it, and it's ridiculously hard to find online (does not come up when you search for "leopard" or in the Bags section...wtf)

4: TOPSHOP Leopard Print Leggings
After seeing so many people that I work with wearing these leggings, I had to hunt them down (they're from last year/the year before) and so I found some (in pristine condition) on eBay for about £6. Sorted

5: Primark Mens "NY LA" and Sugar Skull Tees

MENS STUFF AGAIN OMG. Because I like the designs. And plus, this girl also has the skull tee :D I'll probably do some cutting on the tops, purely because I want them to look slightly different. The "NY LA" one was reduced, and I think I'll turn it into a vest, and possibly make the skull one off the shoulder. WHO KNOWS.

Noticed how these "gets" aren't anything to do with my "wants" from last week? That's because I haven't gotten around to ordering them just yet :) Pretty much all the items (except the lipstick) are online and I haven't seen them in my store or a store near me yet. The lipstick came into my store and I was actually really disappointed, and it is now OFF the list! In the photo it looks like more of a "bubblegum" purple colour but irl it's more of a darker purple. NOT what I wanted. Damn.

As well as spending money and not paying my rent again, I went to a potential room viewing today which went super fantastically well, and I would quite like to possibly say yes. YAY.

Hello everyone, apologies for not writing anything in a really long time!

I haven't been feeling very well since last posting, so please excuse me. I just feel run down a lot of the time recently and I'm not really sure why. Blood tests come back negative and I don't have anything physically wrong! Worst of all is that as well as my body just generally being retarded, my tooth has started to play up.

I went for an emergency appointment yesterday with Adam as my tooth has been getting progressively worse each day since last week, and I'm in excruciating pain at least 3 times a day, all at the SAME times each day which is even weirder - 1-2pm, 7:30-8pm, and then 9-11pm is the worst. I can't eat, so for the past few days I've only been able to eat lunch, and then when I get home, I have to sit down and not talk or open my mouth and then just go to bed and have to ride it out :(

Anyway, I went to the dentist and it turns out a nerve in one of back teeth is fucked. I have a filling in the same tooth which I got done when I was about 14/15 and it's always been super sensitive, despite the fact that it's covered up and no longer an exposed cavity. I've never been able to have anything cold, even mildly cold, on that side of my mouth, and I haven't ever really been able to eat on that side either, only soft food (haha like a baby or something). And my options? Root Canal or Extraction. fml. I went to a Dentist that offers regular dentistry as well as cosmetic procedures such as Invisalign and whitening, and they quoted me over £1,000 for the RC and £140+ for the extraction....wtf! I don't have this kind of money! I don't have any savings, and I'm certainly not asking my parents to bail me out!

I told the dentist I wanted the extraction and she said "oh, but you're too young to have a tooth out!" and I felt like saying "Well, if YOU want to pay for the RC for me, then be my guest, but there's no way I can afford that." And she was like "oh...well, okay" and then gave me an estimate with the cost of my "new patient consultation" (£30), extraction (£140),  and then a hygienist visit (£45) (which was news to me, and something I didn't ask for). All added up to £215, which again, is something I can only just about afford after all my rent and bills have left my account. As I was leaving, the receptionist was kind enough to stop me and say "er, we usually take £100 deposit? But you can leave £130 if you like :)" I'm wearing NO make-up, some cheap jeans and shoes and my hair is just, ugh. Do I LOOK like I just happen to be carrying £130 casually in my purse? lolllllll.

And then Adam did something, and I wish he hadn't, but he gave me £130 to give to her; and I felt like slapping him and saying "WTF LETS JUST RUN AWAY LOL" but I didn't, I gave him a big hug and a huge thank you! And then we left lol. I spoke to my Dad afterwards and he advised me to make an appointment with my current Dentist that I'm still registered with. Total cost for RC? £80-£200 depending on the tooth. SORTED! :D And now to just get my £100 deposit back!

I have to say though, the Amoxicillin that the dentist gave me has worked wonders. Paracetemol and Ibuprofen and Nurofen were like lost causes! Anyway, sorry the essay on the trip yesterday! But it's put me at ease knowing what's wrong with my tooth and that I can have something done about it!

We went to Brent Cross (it's a big shopping mall for those who aren't sure) afterwards and I actually felt the happiest I've felt in a long time...either the drugs were kicking in, or I genuinely felt happy..I don't know, but it was nice to feel, well, nice! I have to share my new socks with you:

Hello everyone!

How have you been? At the moment I'm multitasking by blogging, taking photos and cooking dinner whilst listening to Studio Ghibli soundtracks~ I just have to make sure I keep an eye on the food...

Anyway, it's been a little while since my last blog as I've been at work and when I get home I just want to pass out in bed! Thank goodness for days off! (Although I actually do nothing on these days >.<) I can't believe it's Christmas week already!!!!. Have you all done early shopping or are you now part of the huge rush trying to find last minute gifts? I don't really have much of a chance to do proper shopping on the hight street, mainly because of work, and also because I really don't like shopping in Central London!

I'm so used to just shopping in my home town, because this is the first time I've been living away from my family. Me and Adam are going to my parents for Christmas and to his parents for New Year. I'd find it weird if I didn't spend Christmas with my family, regardless as to whether I live with them or not!

Last week I upgraded my phone, and I now have a shiny iPhone 4!

I went for white as it looks cleaner and more fresh than the black. Also, because my previous phone was black and it shows up all the dirt and scratches more easily lol! I can't wait to have some kind of protective "shell" on it though, as I'll have to wait for the New Year before I can really afford to do a custom case for it.

My service provider fucked up my upgrade however, and sent me the phone with a brand new number instead of keeping my old one, so for a week I had 2 numbers! And my bill just came through...£77! It's a joke... Either way, yesterday I spent just over an hour in the phone store and the guy managed to sort it all out for me, so now I'm happy! I decided to sell my old phone online and I should be getting a cheque for just over £100 pretty soon! Not too shabby at all :D

Today I met up with an old friend, who I also dated when I was about 15. He is so lovely, and it was really nice to see him after such a long time! We went for lunch, and then afterwards, I went to buy a last gift for my Mom from LUSH, and I also went to H&M to use up some more of my gift card money. I went to the H&M in Covent Garden as the one in Camden is shit, and the staff there are really rude. It was no surprise that the staff in the Covent Garden branch were also really rude. Fuck them and their £7.99 tops! (What's the point in the .99 anyway?)

Regardless, here is what I bought in H&M:

I bought the jeans as I wanted some acid wash for ages and didn't bother getting any. The top is cute because I love big tops that are floaty and can be worn on one shoulder :) The plain top? Just something I can wear around the house on a lazy day/casual day out/even bedtime. I bought the black and grey one after having to return the blue and white one I bought the other week as the sales assistant on the till ripped a huge hole in the side whilst trying to remove the security tag....retard. I also bought some track pants the other week, which are SUPER COSY and I love wearing them to chill and sleep in... :p BUT there are holes in the legs too. Seriously, sort it out.

Hi guys! How are you all doing?

The weather is crazy here! Yesterday was kinda hot and dry and today was full on heavy rain! But at least it wasn't freezing cold at the same time. I should probably buy some rain-friendly shoes to wear..considering I live in rainy Britain, you'd think i'd have done this by now, right? Nope :D I wear the most impractical shoes ever!

Anyway, here's what's on my mind at the moment! I kind of have a mini wishlist going on inside my head, and wanted to share it with you, as they're fun, and seeing what people want can be interesting~

Okay, so it's something from my work, BUT, it's damn cute!! I kind of need to justify being able to spend the money and actually wearing the item too, as I feel if I wear it just at work then it kind of defeats the point! I have this in Black and I love it, and I tried on the Lilac version today and thought it was cute! But it's still something I need to think wisely about >.

d.i.a.!!! It's my favourite JP brand, but I definitely don't have enough! I want some damaged jeans so badly, and of course, some of their spring/summer tops! Wish I could still afford to order lots of clothes overseas! 

Classy nails! At least I can have them for my job, which is no problem. I want a set done this month but I wonder if I can afford it...hmmmm! I can always do them myself, but there's always the satisfaction when someone does them for you lol!

Wedges! They're really on-trend right now and I want in on the action!

This is my mini wishlist for now! I've been dressing too casually as of late, and I hate it! I can use any excuse "weather too cold" "can't be bothered" etc etc blah blah, but I need to slap myself round the face and man up to the fact that I look boring all the time lol! Fair enough, I put in all the effort at work, but as I don't really wear any CD outside of work, my wardrobe certainly looks like old news. I need to get back into the swing of being slightly fashionable lol! Speaking of fashionable, is it possible that chavs are catching onto the foxtail trend?! There was one wearing one in my local pub today...it was very scary :'(

Hello everyone! How are you all? It's the end of another week! Although I know some people class Sunday as the beginning of the week, as that's what they used to do in the olden days lol. My old, old Restaurant workplace used to do it :s

Today I had such a short and quick shift at work! Only 10am-2pm. Yeah, 4 hours isn't really anything but it feels even shorter when you finish at a time like 2pm! Everyone was like "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! NO FAIIIR" haha. We had Popi from the Brighton store come and help us today, although I didn't actually see her until I was going! I hope she did okay! Our Camden store is so much bigger, louder and generally much busier than the Brighton branch, but she's fabulous so i'm sure she did fine :D

I'm really hoping that I padd my probation at the end of February! So far I think i've been doing a good enough job, but I guess I just have to wait and see! It would kind of suck to be told that they didn't want to keep me on after i've gotten used to the surroundings and getting on so well with everyone :( I still need to go out for a drink or something with a few people, as I want to get to know them better! Because of the "no-talking" rule at work, everyone is always dying to chat and talk about so much stuff! It will be nice to have a get-together after work sometime! *hint to those of you at work that may read this :p*

Some stuff I ordered way before Christmas and just aftert has started to show up, which is great. I ordered some jeans from a Japanese store on Rakuten and they came really quickly! Here's a stock photo as I haven't taken a decent enough photo of my own just yet:


Mine are the ones on the right. My friend is actually coming over tonight to order the ones on the left because she saw this photo on my Facebook wall and loved them!

 They're so comfortable! And look really nice too :D They came with a thin brown belt that you can see in the left picture, but I probably won't use it...so I stored it at the back of my drawer haha. The only other thing to do with mail that I hate besides delayed post due to weather or random stuff, is the the "attempted delivery" notes they leave you! Grr! They are such liars sometimes! I've been home and waiting for things to turn up and they don't even bother to ring the doorbell! Some mailmen don't even both to put the date or time on the note so i have no clue when they "tried" to deliver anything so I don't know if they'll still have it at the depot or not! Grrrrr grumpy Eilish lol. I went to pick up something from the Post Office on Saturday morning and got back home to find ANOTHER note because noone was home...so i'm going to pick it up tomorrow before work. I *hope* it's a d.i.a. top that I ordered online, or some nail stuff that I ordered!

I'm so happy! I looked and bidded on the 2011 bags online but they're so difficult to get hold of! People have bought 10+ bags and even though one bag retails at Y10,500, they're selling them off for Y20,000 each! I saw a bag online for Y40,000 AND Y70,000!!!! WTF. I won a 2010 lucky bag..bag haha. I didn't realise it was just the bag until i'd bidded but never mind, it's quite a nice bag (even if it does say "NEW YEARS BAG" on it haha)

I also met Caryn, Dec and Kazu (Dec's bf) briefly the other night to pick up the things that Caryn brought back for me from Japan! They were going to Karaoke but I couldn't stay as my funds are low right now (all this shopping I know...) and I was staaaaaarving!

 It's been quite a d.i.a. week I guess! Oh! And a package came in the mail from Laura! She sent it on December 20th and it's taken nearly a month to get here! I haven't taken any photos but inside came two nail varnishes from HEMA (looove), some fake eyelashes, caramel waffles (yuuuummy!) and a kit to make my own king of sweet stuff! It's a Christmas thing really but I don't care! Still going to make them and post them here! In some other news, i'm going to Oslo, Norway in February to see Monica and Ingvild! I was going to go in the first weekend of March but I had already booked a mini holiday away with my friends in October so I couldn't go :( But i'm going for 2 days or so at the beginning of Feb! It will be cold, but so so lovely to see them both! So, yeah! How has everyone's week been?
